KICKASS NO BULL RACES
The season opener at Daytona and the races at Charlotte, Darlington and Talladega will serve as the four “Kickass Beef Jerky No Bull” races. The Daytona winner will receive one $25 Kickass Beef Jerky gift pack of their choosing! The top 4 finishers from each No Bull race will be the eligible drivers for the next one. The top finisher of those 4 in each of the No Bull races will also receive a $25 gift pack of their choosing! This is possible due to the generosity of Jason Barum and Kickass Beef Jerky.
We will be using the current NASCAR point structure with the winner of each race receiving 4 bonus points. Leading a lap during the race will also get you 1 bonus point while leading the most will get you 2 bonus points. Wins during the regular season DO NOT guarantee you a spot in the 10 race playoffs.
The playoffs will start with the top 10 finishers in regular-season points. Race winners from the regular season will be given 1 bonus point to start for each of their regular-season wins. These bonus points will be applied at the beginning of the FIRST ROUND ONLY. There will be 3 elimination rounds each consisting of 3 races. At the end of each round, the bottom 2 drivers in playoff points will be eliminated. Race wins during each round will automatically advance that driver to the next round so long as they have attempted all the races in that round. The season finale will see the final 4 remaining drivers set to equal points in a winner takes all match up.
This season will feature the first-ever Summer Shootout series. The Summer Shootout will consist of 4 races. These will be the races at the Milwaukee Mile, Myrtle Beach, Irwindale and IRP. Shootout races will have two heat races followed by the main event. The starting grid in each heat race will be set by lone qualifying speeds. The heat races will set the grid for the main event up to 43 drivers. Any drivers passed the 43 who finish below the cutoff in the heat races will be eliminated from the main event. The winner of each heat will receive 2 bonus points to be added to their total from the main event.
